Setting Up exchange with ActiveSync On Android Devices
Synchronization of Exchange mailbox data is supported on mobile devices with Android 2.0 OS or later
Important: If you have an Android 2.2 device, you may need to upgrade it to Android 2.2.1. There is a known issue connecting Android 2.2 devices to Exchange 2010 with Service Pack 1 (SP1). The Android phone will not be able to connect to the Exchange server, and will display the error message "Unable to open connection to server." The upgrade will fix the issue.
